MoveID enables the capture of biometric, ICAO-compliant photographs directly in a local authority setting. The solution is suitable both as an addition to existing stationary systems and as a reliable fall-back option. If required, MoveID can also be used as a standalone solution.

Staff in passport, ID card or immigration authorities can capture photographs in just a few seconds and transfer them directly into their specialist system for applications for official documents, without media discontinuities or manual intermediate steps. A software-assisted biometric check supports users during capture and ensures high quality as well as compliance with standards.

MoveID is provided on centrally managed smartphones. Operation, maintenance and device administration are handled entirely by Bundesdruckerei, meaning the authority incurs no additional IT effort. A rental model with short terms ensures flexible use and planning certainty.
