MoveID® enables ICAO-compliant biometric ID photos to be captured directly at public authority premises. The solution can be used independently or to supplement existing fixed systems, for example at additional workstations, in branch offices or when photographing infants and young children.
Staff in passport, ID card or immigration authorities can capture photographs in just a few seconds and transfer them directly into their specialist system for applications for official documents, without media discontinuities or manual intermediate steps. A software-assisted biometric check supports users during capture and ensures high quality as well as compliance with standards.
MoveID is provided on centrally managed smartphones. Operation, maintenance and device administration are handled entirely by Bundesdruckerei, meaning the authority incurs no additional IT effort. A rental model with short terms ensures flexible use and planning certainty.

MoveID® is designed for passport and ID card authorities, immigration authorities and driving licence authorities that want to capture biometric ID photos directly as part of their administrative processes and transfer them to their specialist applications.
MoveID can be used as a standalone solution. A stationary capture system is not a prerequisite. At the same time, MoveID is suitable as a mobile supplement to stationary solutions.
MoveID can be used flexibly, for example for infants and toddlers. It is also a space-saving option and can be used as a fall-back if stationary systems are temporarily unavailable.
The package includes a preconfigured Apple iPhone including the MoveID Photo App, a charging station and power adapter, a protective case and an included mobile network contract, so the solution can be used immediately.
MoveID is certified in accordance with BSI TR-03121 and therefore meets the high standards set by the security authorities.
MoveID® is available for a flat rental fee of €140.00 per month, including VAT, billed annually. There are no set-up or provisioning fees, either initially or on an ongoing basis. As there is no charge per photo created, your public authority benefits from maximum cost predictability and retains all revenue from photo fees.
The minimum contract term is 12 months.
