Assistent.iQ supports public administrations in coping with growing volumes of information, complex regulatory frameworks and time-consuming routine tasks. The AI application for the public sector processes large volumes of text and documents efficiently and makes relevant content quickly accessible.

It can be operated either as a SaaS solution for public authorities on Bundesdruckerei servers or as an on-premises AI product in the customer’s own data centre, without any dependence on non-European providers.
Developed for the Specific Requirements of Public Administration
Assistent.iQ was designed together with public administration users and is continuously being developed further. The language models used are selected based on administration-specific benchmarks and are regularly evaluated.
The solution was developed for legally compliant use in public administration and takes regulatory requirements such as the GDPR and the EU AI Act into account. AI-generated answers can be explained and verified through precise source references at sentence and paragraph level. This means that even lengthy documents or meeting minutes can be reviewed in a short time.

No. Assistent.iQ does not independently access the open internet. Assistent.iQ works exclusively with approved and provided documents. By default, external data sources are deactivated in security mode and can only be enabled with explicit approval. Where required, additional data sources can be connected selectively via standardised interfaces – controlled, transparent and compliant.
Answers and summaries are based solely on the documents provided. Relevant passages are indicated and can be traced in the original document. If information is missing, the system points this out.
No. Assistent.iQ supports information retrieval, structuring and drafting. However, it does not make any decisions with legal or comparable effects. The substantive responsibility remains with the responsible body.
Yes. Assistent.iQ was developed taking the EU AI Regulation into account and is assigned to the risk class “limited risk”. The application meets the relevant transparency obligations for AI-supported assistance systems.
Assistent.iQ can be operated either as a SaaS solution on servers of Bundesdruckerei GmbH or as an on-premises variant in the customer’s own data centre. Both operating models offer the same range of functions.
Yes. Assistent.iQ is ready for immediate use and can be used straight away by public administration. A six-month pilot phase is offered as an entry model. During this phase, functions can be tested in a practical setting and processes can be optimised. Data protection for personal data and BSI protection requirements can also be assessed directly in the application together with the responsible parties.
